Service DepartmentThe Company has always aimed to offer a first-class repair and installation service and this has been recognised by accreditation of the Company's Quality System by ICS (UKAS Approved) to the Quality Standard ISO9001:2000, and the industry's own standard, the Radio Quality Assurance Scheme. Workshops are equipped with the latest hi-tech test equipment for comprehensive and accurate diagnostics and measurement. Repairs are undertaken for a wide variety of equipment, whether supplied by Communications Specialists or not. Installation of radio equipment into vehicles is undertaken on Company premises in a well-equipped fitting bay or, by arrangement, at customers' own site. Certificates of conformity are issued for new or repaired equipment if required. Comprehensive battery management is offered including cycling NiCd batteries to remove 'memory effect' and evaluation of battery capacity. We offer a disposal service for unserviceable NiCd batteries through an approved Waste Management contractor.
